Easter Holiday Closing

The Library will be closed on Sunday, April 5th for the Easter holiday.  We will reopen on Monday, April 6th at 9:00 a.m. 

Walking Caterpillar

Your craft kit includes:

  • A strip of colored cardstock
  • Googly eyes
  • A straw

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Coloring supplies
Labeled "one." A strip of green paper folded many times with the corners cut to a rounded shape.

Fold the strip of paper in half to make sections about an inch in size. Cut the corners to make a rounded rectangle shape.

Labeled "two." A green and red paper caterpillar with a striped, segmented body, pink googly eyes, and a smiling face.

Unfold the strip of paper, and color the caterpillar with your coloring supplies. Attach the googly eyes to the caterpillar’s head.

To play:

Position your caterpillar in a “U” shape with its head and tail folded out on a hard, smooth surface. Using your straw, blow behind your caterpillar’s head and watch it walk on its own!
