Hatching Chicks

Your craft kit includes:

  • An egg template
  • White cardstock
  • Yellow cardstock
  • A popsicle stick
  • Two googly eyes

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Coloring supplies
  • Glue

Part 1: Make the Egg

Cut out your egg template.

Trace one and a half eggs onto the cardstock and cut them out.

Attach the half egg to the whole egg, leaving a gap on the top and bottom.

 Decorate your egg. Then, cut a crack in the middle.

Part 2: Make the Chick

Cut out a chick shape from the yellow cardstock.

Attach the top of the egg to the chick’s head, and the popsicle stick on the bottom.

Next, decorate your chick with coloring supplies and googly eyes.
