Easter Holiday Closing

The Library will be closed on Sunday, April 5th for the Easter holiday.  We will reopen on Monday, April 6th at 9:00 a.m. 

Chicken Art

Your craft kit includes:

  • Brown construction paper
  • A strip of red paper
  • Various colored and patterned papers

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Coloring supplies
  • Glue
Labeled "one." Four strips of paper in various colors, patterns, and sizes that have been cut into strips with rounded tops. They sit on a brown table.

Cut pieces of your colored and patterned paper into strips with one rounded end. It helps to vary the size and thickness.

Labeled "two." Several strips of colored paper of various colors and patterns with rounded tops have been glued onto a brown sheet of construction paper.

Attach these strips towards the bottom of the brown construction paper with the rounded end facing up.

Labeled "3." On the right, there are several small three pointed crowns cut out of red construction paper. On the right, there are various small red triangles that were creating by cutting the crowns.

Cut crowns out of the strip of red construction paper, and reserve the scraps.

Then, attach the crowns and beaks to your chicken and add eyes with coloring supplies.
