Easter Holiday Closing

The Library will be closed on Sunday, April 5th for the Easter holiday.  We will reopen on Monday, April 6th at 9:00 a.m. 

Birdnoculars

Your craft kit includes:

  • Colored cardstock
  • Square of orange cardstock
  • Two small white paper circles

Supplies you’ll need:

  • Scissors
  • Tape or glue
  • Coloring supplies

Part 1: Make Your Binoculars

Labeled "one." A blue sheet of cardstock cut in half down the middle.

Cut a small strip (about 1.5") from the sheet of colored cardstock. Then, cut the remaining sheet in half.

Roll each half into a tube and secure in place. Once they’re secure, attach them to each other.

Part 2: Assemble!

Using the strip of leftover colored cardstock, make wings. Fold over the orange cardstock to make a beak and decorate the two white circles to make eyes. Finally, attach the pieces to the binoculars.
