When her Betty Crocker Picture Cook Book hit bookstore shelves in 1950, its sales soon rivaled that of The Bible. To date, it has sold more than 75 million copies. Join historian Leslie Goddard, Ph.D. for a nostalgia-packed illustrated lecture exploring the history of Betty Crocker, how she first rose to fame in 1921, why her cookbook has endured and what makes her so iconic.
