Start Your Own Book Discussion Group

We have many resources at the library to help your group get started, and to help existing book clubs find great reads.  We have an in-house inventory of popular book club books which you can check out for your group.

For other great book club titles, go to Novelist, a resource provided to our patrons that includes information on titles and authors and may even include book discussion questions!

Other great resources include:

The Wauconda Area Library can obtain up to FIVE copies of a title through interlibrary loan for your group.   We also offer extended due dates to accommodate your group's schedule.

Please stop by the Adult Help Desk or email Kelly Kuningas directly at to place an order for books. Please have one contact person with a Wauconda Area Library card for the group. This person will be responsible for checking out the books and making sure they are all returned. We ask that you have a couple of titles in mind in case your first selection is not available, though we would be happy to recommend good reads to you.  Please note that titles must have been published at least 6 months ago.

We will need your group's contact person's name, library card number, phone number, title/number of books needed and what date you would like them due.
