A Great Day at Your Library

SOUL Harbour Ranch Miniature Therapy Horse Visit

SOUL Harbour Ranch Animal Therapy Program is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Barrington who trains registered therapy animals to visit hospitals, nursing and retirement communities, hospice, schools, and more. SOUL Harbour will be bringing their miniature therapy horses for a visit to explain the amazing work they are doing. Following the brief presentation, we will have a birthday-themed storytime and allow for photo opportunities.

Family Fun Car Build and the Great Race

Saturday, September 28, 2019 -
12:30pm to 1:30pm

We will supply you with the wooden racecar kit, and the rest is up to you.  Each family is allowed one car to build and decorate at home together as a team.  The car should be ready to roll for the Great Race on Saturday, September 28 at 12:30 p.m.  After the race, cars will be collected and displayed in the library for the month of October.  Voting will take place the month of October for the best-decorated car.
