Disguise a Gingerbread Person

Monday, December 28, 2020 (All day)
Create a disguise for your gingerbread person based on your favorite storybook character.  Cutout gingerbread template and use whatever materials you have at home to turn the gingerbread into your favorite storybook character.  Have fun, be creative, and return to the library by January 4, 2021 to be put on display for voting.  Include your name and book that inspired you on the back.  Gingerbread template is available for pickup November 30th-January 3rd.  Voting will take place January 11th-February 1st.

Field Trip at Home With Dinosaurs Rock

3:00pm to 4:00pm
Join a DINOSAURS ROCK expert for a fun and educational Jurassic Journey, complete with museum-quality, life-size specimens as the backdrop to exploring the world of dinosaurs and fossils. This will be an unforgettable at-home field trip filled with learning and laughter. The first 50 that check out a dinosaur book will receive a dinosaur fossil to keep.

Searching for South America

Fresh off a 22-month world trip, Brian Michalski is on the road again - this time spending over a year in South America. As he trekked the Inca Trail, navigated pristine Patagonia and explored the Amazon rainforest, he also volunteered, took Spanish classes, earned his English teaching certificate and worked remotely.
