What to Stream Next - Hidden Gems on Hoopla and Kanopy

Ryan and Nate, hosts of the popular film podcast Can We Still Be Friends? will recommend movies to watch for free on Hoopla and Kanopy - the library's movie streaming platforms.  They will be our personal movie guides to explore some hidden gems and under the radar topics. Enjoy their banter and informed opinions. There will also be time to "ask the critics". Join us live on Zoom.

Virtual Book Buddies

Register to read with a librarian. Each child will receive their own 20 minute appointment to read one on one via Zoom. A great way to build confidence and increase fluency. Sign up each week for a slot. Families with multiple readers sign up each reader individually.

Shipwrecks - Treasures of the Great Lakes

An evening with Internationally acclaimed and award winning shipwreck photographer Cal Kothrade. Cal has spent the last ten years traveling North America to dive and capture breathtaking images of some of the most haunting and historically significant shipwrecks in the Great Lakes, Atlantic and Caribbean Sea.

Grow! Interactive Firefly Family Theatre

Sunday, March 21, 2021 (All day)

Spark the firefly wants to plant a garden, but doesn't know how to get her seeds to grow. With the help of her friends in the forest, Spark learns the parts of the plants, what they need to grow and the importance of patience. Audiences will explore these concepts through music, poetry and interactive movement. Recommended for ages 2-7.  Watch this 25 minute show as many times as you like from March 21-27.
