Welcome to the Wauconda Area Library! The library has many resources to help you or your business get the information you need:
Business Library Cards
Any business located within the Wauconda Area Library boundaries is eligible for a business card. The business owner is required to register for the card and he/she may authorize up to four individuals to use the card. The library card will be the responsibility of the business owner. Business cards shall be used to check out business-related materials only. Personal materials shall be checked out on the patron’s home library card. Business cards are valid for two years. To see if your business is in our library district, visit our district map. If you are not located in our library district, please refer to your property tax bill for your business or home-based business. You can register your library card at the Wauconda Area Library once you obtain it from your home library.

Chilton Library - Popular auto repair manuals, recalls and maintenance for makes and models from 1940-present.
Consumer Reports - Provides ratings, reviews, recommendations and buying advice for cars, appliances, electronics, home and garden, and more.
Illinois Public Records - Scroll through Chicagoland's public records. Real estate transactions, mortgages, foreclosures, and more. Sort by name, city, zip code, and more. CheckIllinois is available for free background checks.
Legal Forms - Forms for divorce, bankruptcy, wills and estates, landlords, real estate, power of attorney and more.
Lynda.com - Learn technology, creative and business skills you can use today. Lynda.com offers online video tutorials for the web, design, photography, audio and music production, video, 3D animation and much more. You will need your valid Wauconda Area Library card and PIN to login.
ReferenceUSA - Find nationwide business or residential information. Create lists by business type, sales volume, residential area, and more.
The library offers a classroom available for reservation by any business in the Wauconda Area Public Library District to reserve for staff training. The Classroom has 15 iMac computers with Windows 10 and the Microsoft Office 2016 Suite installed. Click here for information about how to reserve the classroom. The library also offers 3 small meeting rooms available for reservation up to a week in advance. Click here for more information about reserving study rooms. Finally, the library offers use of its large meeting room space with capacity for 90. Click here for more information.

Tech2Go, and Studio 801
We have a Tech2Go collection of items ranging from mobile WiFi hotspots with unlimted data to Roku streaming sticks preloaded with Netflix. Studio 801 offers the space, hardware, and software for library patrons to get creative with graphic design, video, music, photography, digitization, and much more!
