for the April 5, 2005 election!
The Wauconda Area Library
generally has deputy
registrars on hand from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you wish to register at the
library, please call ahead (847-526-6225) to make sure a deputy registrar is on
duty. There are several
other locations in the area which offer voter registration.
Only U.S. citizens who will be 18 years old by April 5, 2005, may register to
vote. At registration, two forms of identification must be presented, with
one showing a current residence address. This can include a driver's
license, utility bill, checkbook, state or school ID, social security card or a
credit card.
The Wauconda Area Library offers voter registration during regular hours as an
ongoing service. The last day to register for the April 5, 2005 election
is March 8, 2005.
