A Great Day at the Library
Community Picnic
Saturday, July 28
Noon - 4 p.m.
Celebrate the summer with an old-fashioned picnic on the library lawn. This is a great chance for the family to go out and enjoy the summer weather at the library, while taking time to enjoy the festivities and charming atmosphere. There will be pony rides, a DJ, face painting, games for kids and lots more! The Wauconda Township Historical Society's Cook House will be open for tours during the picnic and is sure to entertain, as well as educate.
Pack a picnic lunch - the library will provide beverages, ice cream and entertainment for the whole family! If a picnic lunch isn't for you, Main Street Tacos are set to provide their delicious fare. Hot dogs and popcorn will also be for sale. Tacos and hot dogs are $2 and popcorn is $.50. The Friends of the Library are helping to sponsor this.
We hope to see you at the library picnic with your family and friends to relax and enjoy all that Wauconda summers have to offer!
