Annual Friends of the Library Book Sale
September 30 - October 2

This is your opportunity to search for rare books, grow your culinary repertoire, find DVDs to entertain your grandchildren, plan your next vacation, and much more!

The Annual Fall Book Sale will be held at the Wauconda Area Library from Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2.The book sale is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The book sale hours are:

Friday, September 30, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Saturday, October 1, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Sunday, October 2, from Noon until 3:30 p.m.*

*Sunday only!  Fill a bag for $5 all during the sale!

The special Friends Preview Night is
Thursday, September 29, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. 

Get first dibs on thousands of items!  Friends Preview Night is open to current members only.  Annual memberships and renewals may be purchased at the Information Desk.

Friends meetingThe Friends have spent the summer sorting books, making decision on expenditures to enhance your library experience, and handing out treats at the library's summer concert series. We are looking forward to 2012, as we are planning to make some noteworthy additions to the library.

Please join us at our next meeting on:

Wednesday, September 14 at 7 p.m.

to share your ideas on how the Friends organization can further assist our library.

Sorting booksPlease also attend the September meeting if you are interested in helping with the book sale. As the saying goes - many hands make the load lighter. We are looking for volunteers to move and organize donations starting September 25. Help make this year's book sale a success by donating a few hours of your time!

The Friends of the Library meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Contact the Friends at friends@wauclib.org.
