Library Card Sign-UpOur Annual Library Card Sign-Up Program is back!

Your library card is the most valuable card in your wallet! We want to make sure you know what a great resource your library can be.

In addition to borrowing books, DVDs, and CDs, you can visit the library to attend programs, attend a book discussion or author visit, and use library computers or high-speed Wi-Fi. Cardholders can also access information-rich databases and download ebooks, eaudiobooks, and videos from our website at www.wauclib.org.

Getting a library card is easy and free, but putting it to use is what counts. Last year, Wauconda Area patrons checked out 643,000 items and visited the library 256,000 times!

Do you know where your card is?

Lost cards will be replaced at no charge through September. We advise parents to make sure everyone in the family age 5 and older has a library AND knows where it is. Free key chain cards are available during September to all library patrons over the age of 16.

Local FREEBIES AND DISCOUNTS

Library Card Sign-UpThis is the 13th anniversary of the library/business partnership. Your library card is your key to freebies or discounts at over 165 participating businesses throughout the month of September.

Booklets listing the businesses and their discounts are available at the library. The library is partnering with 165 local businesses to offer some great bargains when you show your library card around town.
