Summer Reading Club for Kids
A Midsummer Knight's Read
For Toddlers through Grade 6
Weekly prizes provide encouragement for reading all summer long! Upon completion of the program, children will earn a paperback book, thanks to the Friends of the Library, and a free admission pass to Medieval Times in Schaumburg.
Medieval Tournament
For boys in Grades 4 - 6
Monday, July 18 at 1 p.m.
Calling all knights in training! Hone your skills with Jousting 101 and other challenging tournament activities. For the brave of heart, sound of mind and strong of limb!
Cinderella Stories
For Grades 1 - 3
Thursday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m.
Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a lovely girl named Cinderella. Come listen to stories about her told in many cultures, play enchanting games, make a craft fit for a princess, and live happily ever after!
