• B-I-N-G-SNOW Bash on Monday, February 21 at 1:30 p.m.
  Join us for a snowman bingo bash! Drink hot cocoa while you play, then make an easy snowman craft. For Grades 1-2.

Consumer Reports Online for Free!

The library subscribes to Consumer Reports Online, which provides ratings, reviews, recommendations and buying advice for cars, appliances, electronics, home and garden, baby products, toys and more.

To start searching Consumer Reports:

1. Go to the library's website at www.wauclib.org.
2. Click on Research & the Internet.
3. Click on Online Databases by Title. Select Consumer Reports.
4. You will need to enter in your 14-digit Wauconda Area Library card number.

Tax Forms

Many income tax forms are available at the library beginning in February.  The forms are located across from the Adult Services Reference Desk. Tax forms and instructions can also be photocopied or printed from the Internet for $.10 per page. 

Please be aware that library staff cannot answer your tax questions or tell you which tax form to use. 

AARP Tax Assistance

Free income tax assistance is available for seniors 55 or older with simple returns. Appointments begin mid-February and are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Appointments must be made in advance at the Adult Services Reference Desk or by calling 847-526-6225 x203.
