Tutor.com
Students in grades K-12 can receive online help from a live tutor in subjects such as Math, English, Social Studies and Science. Tutor.com is available from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. each day of the week, in English and Spanish.
School Textbooks
The Children's department has reference copies of all textbooks for students in grades one through six who attend the Wauconda CUSD #118 elementary and middle schools or Transfiguration School.Although these books cannot be checked out, you may use them in the library or make photocopies for $.10 per page.

For Grades 3-12 ~ This database is very helpful for projects about countries and cultures. It contains information about land, climate, family, diet, holidays, maps, flags, and more.
SIRS Discoverer
For Grades 1-9 ~ This database contains biographies, country facts, photo essays, current events and over 29,000 graphics, including photos, maps and charts.
SIRS Researcher
For Grades 6-12 ~ Specializing in articles on current topics, SIRS Researcher offers overviews, pros vs. cons, and in-depth analysis.
