Renewing a library item

To renew books yourself, you will need to have a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in addition to the barcode number on the back of your library card.  For instructions, please go to the web-based library catalog and follow these instructions:

 

As you view a list of the items you have currently checked out, you can renew any items from the list.

To renew a library item

1.     LOG IN to your user account.  For instruction for logging in, click here.

2.     Click the Checked Out link.

iPac displays a list of items you currently have checked out.

3.     Do one of these options:

1.     To renew all the items in the list, mark the box to the left of the Title column.

2.     Mark the box next to the item(s) you want to renew.

4.     Click Renew.

iPac renews the item and then displays a new due date for the item in the Due Date column.

5.     When you are finished, log out of your user account.

Also please remember that HELP is always available when you use the web-based catalog by clicking on the question mark (Help) in the upper righthand corner of the screen and then on the User's Guide within the Help screen.
