Stop by the library through March 21st to see the
District 118 Art A-Fair
Artwork rendered by students in all grades from each school
will be on display in honor of
Youth
Art Month.
Youth Art Month, sponsored by the
Council for Art
Education, seeks to develop self-esteem, appreciation of
the work of others, self-expression, cooperation with
others, and critical thinking skills through art.
These skills are vital to the success of our future leaders
-- our children.
Approximately 150 pieces of mixed media artwork, including
works in pastels, watercolor, oil, clay and metal, will be
displayed throughout the library.

of the artwork on display,
