Pay Your Fines with Food!

The Wauconda Area Library will be accepting donations for the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry in lieu of library fines on overdue items from Saturday, December 1 through Sunday, January 6, 2008. When you return your overdue items to the library, bring along some non-perishable items or canned goods to clear your fines on those items. New winter clothing will also be accepted. This promotion does not include late video/DVD fines or previous fines on your record. Items donated should be comparable to the fines being waived.

The food pantry is in need of canned goods or health and beauty aids and appreciates your support during this holiday season!
