Laptops Available for Checkout
Library laptop computers are now available
for in-house use at the Wauconda Area Library. Library patrons who
are at least 18 years of age may check out one of the laptop computers
from the Circulation Desk for up to two hours, for in-house use only.
This library service is subject to availability. All library
laptops must remain in the library building during use.
Laptops are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk. You
must submit your own current Wauconda Area Library card and a valid
Illinois driver's license. The library record and the driver's
license must have the same address. Your library card must be in
good standing (no fines or overdues) and be registered for a minimum 90
days. These cards will be returned to you when the laptop is
returned. Under no circumstances may you use another person's
library card. You will also be asked to sign a User Agreement at
the time of checkout.
All library laptops are connected to a
wireless printer. Printouts are $.10 per page and can be retrieved
at the Adult Services Reference Desk.
