The library now subscribes to BrainPOP, a web site that features hundreds of educational topics covering English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Technology. Although these are primarily correlated to educational standards for Grades K-8 they can be very useful to anyone looking for a simple explanation of a given topic. Each topic section contains a 2-4 minute animated movie, an interactive quiz, an experiment, a comic strip, a how-to hands on application, a timeline and a printable activity page. This service is available through the library website at most Internet workstations throughout the library. Use of sound available only in Computer Lab A or B.
