Tax Forms at the Library
Many income tax forms are available at the library beginning in February. The forms are located across from the Adult Services Reference Desk. Please be aware that library staff cannot answer your tax questions or tell you which tax form to use.
Tax forms and instructions can be photocopied or printed from the Internet for $.10 per page. Please ask at the Adult Services Reference Desk for assistance.

AARP Tax Assistance at the Library
Volunteers with the American Association of Retired Persons provide free income tax return assistance to eligible patrons who are 60 or older. Appointments typically run from mid-February through the beginning of April. Appointment scheduling begins at 9:00 a.m. Appointments must be made at the Adult Services Reference Desk in person or by calling 847-526-6225 ext. 203.
Please bring the following items with you to your appointment:
- A copy of last year's tax return
- 1099 forms
- W-2 forms
- Estimated tax payments
- Property taxes paid with the Property Index Number (PIN)
If you are filing jointly, both parties need to attend the appointment together.
