Tax Forms at the Library Many income tax forms are available at the library beginning in January. The forms are located in the hallway by the restrooms near the main entrance. Please be aware that library staff cannot answer your tax questions or tell you which tax form to use. Tax forms and instructions can be photocopied or printed from the Internet for $.10 per page. Please ask at the Adult Services Reference Desk for assistance. AARP Tax Assistance at the Library Volunteers with the American Association of Retired Persons provide free income tax return assistance to eligible patrons who are 55 or older. Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, starting February 12 through April 9. Appointment scheduling begins at 9:00 a.m. Appointments must be made at the Adult Services Reference Desk in person or by calling 847-526-6225 ext. 203. Please bring the following items with you to your appointment: A copy of last year's tax return 1099 forms W-2 forms Estimated tax payments Property taxes paid If you are filing jointly, both parties need to attend the appointment together.
