SUGGESTION BOX

February, 2003

1. Please put signs for big print books.  I am not psychic.  Thanks.

We are working on a plan for improving signage throughout the Adult Services shelving in order to make all materials easier to find.

2.  Current news/periodical display is shoddy!  Where are my tax dollars going?  Please subscribe to the daily New York Times.  I voted for the referendum.  This would not be a huge expenditure.

The New York Times is now delivered daily to the library.  Until recently, though,  this newspaper was not available for daily delivery other than through the U.S. mail, resulting in a two- to three-day delay.  Given the relatively high cost for a subscription and the delay in receiving the newspaper, it was determined that the library should not subscribe.  Now that the publisher will deliver the current newspaper daily to the library, we have subscribed.

3.  Please acquire: original “Buffy the Vampire” movie and the rest of the seasons; more copies of  “The Importance of Being Earnest”; “Requiem for a Dream” unedited version; “American Outlaws”

These items have been purchased or borrowed for you.
