5. (via Web site) The holiday decorations in the Children’s Department look beautiful! My kids just love coming here and so do I! |
Thanks for your kind compliment! The Children’s librarians strive to make the Children’s Department an exciting place to visit and explore. |
6. Please buy the book Love and Sex, 10 Stories of Truth by Michael Carte. |
Will do. Thank you for your recommendation. |
7. I enjoy the books on tape section and have for years, but I do want to express support for abridged tapes and to let the Library know that there is support for them rather than unabridged. |
Thank you for expressing your appreciation of our books on tape selection. It has been our policy to focus the majority of collection development in the unabridged format. If there are abridged books you are looking for, please stop by the Adult Reference Desk and we will be glad to Interlibrary Loan them for you! |
8. This is a nice library but it should have better books. |
Please feel free to recommend book titles to the librarians. We want you to find what you’re looking for here at Wauconda! In fact, an overhaul of our entire non-fiction collection is in the planning process – stay tuned! |
9. The Wauconda Library is a wonderful library and a fun place to work at. However I would like it if you had more books on early civilizations, especially the Vikings. |
The Children’s librarian who is in charge of ordering nonfiction books will certainly look into purchasing more books on Vikings. However, the next time you visit, please stop by the Children’s Reference desk – the Children’s librarian may be able to help you find more books about Vikings already in our collection. |
