7. Great “Kids in the Kitchen” program! My daughter loves it. I appreciated the apple pockets; real
cooking and real ingredients. When it
was her turn to bring a snack for Brownies, she wanted to make that recipe,
so we did. She was so proud to serve
it to her troop and say, “I made them!”
Please, please continue this excellent program. |
Glad
to hear that your little chef has enjoyed our cooking class! We plan to offer “Kids in the Kitchen” this
summer (one session will be devoted to making ice cream!) Full details of the program will be
available in May in the summer issue of the library’s newsletter, Focus, and on the library’s web
site. |

8. Please acquire: more |
These
items are being considered for purchase. |
|
9. When you receive new DVDs, make a copy of
the original for use by patrons. When
that copy is ruined, simply make another copy of the original. This way you always only have one copy for
public use but have spared the expense of constantly buying new copies
because people (and so many of them) use and ruin them. |
Only
a few DVD’s have had to be replaced due to damage. Establishing a collection of backup DVD’s
is not practical because of the labor and space it would consume. Regardless of these problems, though,
copyright law does not allow us to make copies of DVD’s. |
|

consider your request. |
